Best YA Short Story of 2012
My friend Gina X. Grant, author of the fabulous and hilarious Reluctant Reaper series (book 1 currently free), used to write m/m as Storm Grant. Her wonderful short story Few Are Chosen won Best YA Short Story of 2012 at Authors After Dark’s Bookie Awards!
Few Are Chosen is a short story of less than 10,000 words, but I loved every single word. It’s funny, sweet, filled with discovery and a homage to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you’re looking for a fabulous quick read check it out. And if you want to find out how Gina nearly got missed during the awards ceremony read her blog post here.

Thank you for posting about my wee tale. I’m thrilled and honoured to have won.
