As much as I would have liked to, I have not been kidnapped by a sexy Space Pirate (and I’m quite disappointed about that;). Nor have I dropped off the edge of the world or found a time machine. I do however have a new job, which has eaten up huge chunks of my time as well as my mental engergy. I am hoping to change that and the first thing on the list is to whip out the featherduster.

Get your mind out of the gutter, I need it to get rid of the dust that has settled on the blog! *waves around the featherduster, stops the dustbunny orgy and coughs at the motes whirling around her* There now, that’s better.

I enjoy my new job, but I am so far out of my comfort zone I am in a new dimension. I still work with books, but in quite a different way. After a month things have gotten a little better, which I why I hope to spend more time online.

I have managed very little writing. I am still working on Sexy Steampunk 2, the sequel to Rescue by Ruin, and have drafted an outline for a rewrite of a steampunk Christmas story I wrote a couple of years ago. All I need now is the mojo to sit down and write…or a seat on the morning subway to write longhand. Both are very, very difficult to come by.
