Interesting article. I keep thinking about the first years when vinyl went to the wire with iTunes. We all know how that turned out. Print media (which I still love) and digital (which is useful) are head-to-head now. What I want to know is how will this epic battle will eventually affect those of us who write? I’ve started sending queries on my novel and, if the fates were kind and I had the choice, I would still go print media. But, who knows? At some point, would you explain how Ellora’s Cave works for you? I’ve read their submission guide lines, ect, but are the authors responsible for their own marketing?
